The similarities the shows format and content have within my own documentary is the format includes friends having a laugh and enjoying themselves but also embarrassing each other, and in my documentary idea i will try and portray state school of friends having a laugh and enjoying themselves and compare this with a faith school atmosphere of girls having fun and enjoying themselves. And what is the real difference of faith school fun and state school fun. The format of friends includes home scenes, which may relate with my documentary as i will have me, in front of the camera speaking about the difference in my life of going to a faith school and then to state school college. The content which is included in friends and could be shown within my documentary is the use of arguments the friends have through the phone, i could show this in relation to my documentary topic by showing a state school girl and boy, breaking up on the phone, as to show the effects of going to a state school, as now day and age, state school is full of girls and boys dating each other.
My show would beat it in terms of viewing figures, as i am to keep it engaging to my target audience as i feel my documentary topic is very unique, and completely chosen from my keen interest and this is why i will try to achieve the best possible for my documentary to do well, and because friends the show is about having a laugh, in the same way in my documentary i will portray state school and faith school students having fun, enjoying their school life.

The similarities the shows format and content have within my own documentary, is that the format used in the kardashian is similar to what i will interpreting in my documentary as i will be having interviews with teenage girls talking about their life experience in going to a faith school, i also will have similar interviews like in the kardashians with the teachers studying at faith schools, i also aim to interview experts according to the topic of my documentary idea. The content which i will be similar to my documentary is the questions asked to the kardashian sisters for example, what is involved of you to do everyday in your lifestyle (1:01), the similar questions i will be asking the girls going to faith school on how their basic everyday life in going to a faith school and comparing that to a girl going to a state schools everyday school life.
My show would beat it in terms of viewing figures as i will be making similar to something like the kardashians but engaging my target audience more, in my documentary i will have interviews and peoples own experience in going to a faith school or studying at the moment. This will appeal to my target audience which will beat it in terms of viewing figures as the topic i have chosen is something which interests my target audience knowing, so it may be a one of show that my target audience maybe in keen to watch, since it will come on, only once.

The similarities the shows format and content have within my own documentary is the format includes a boys daily routine of going to school, i will portray a similar format within my documentary by adding a girls daily routine of going to a faith school and how school life is different within a faith school and a state school. The content which is included within the Diary of a wimpy kid that is similar to the content i will be including within my documentary idea is the way the main character stand in front of the camera talking about his school life and what his school life includes, in the same way similarly in my documentary i will be standing in front of the camera directly talking about my experience of going from a faith school to a state school sixth form.
My show would beat it in terms of viewing figures as i will try to portray a similar format as shown through the diary of a wimpy kid, as because my documentary is based on school and education which it generally meets my target audience, they will have keen interest in watching my documentary as it is something unique and no similar documentary topic has been shown, i will show the difference between a faith school and a state school, to make it reach to a wider range of my target audience both male and female, i will portray school life in a state and a faith school and i will leave my viewers to decide as to which is better, and the different experience a faith school gives to children.
Based on research, the broadcast day and time that would best suit my documentary magazine show is on BBC, broadcasted after 7pm as this is the time they start broadcasting, but moreover because this time will reach many viewers as possible that aim directly towards my target audience. After research i find that my target audience watch shows after 7pm. So i feel that my documentary topic will appeal to my target audience and many people will be interested in watching as it is something unique which i have chosen, and also have not seen any documentaries on the similar topics which i have chosen to do, i feel this documentary being broadcasted after 7pm will make majority of my target audience watch it as it an idea which many people would love to hear about the experience from the different atmospheres of going to a faith school rather than a state school. The best Broadcast day and time which will best suit my documentary magazine show is on Friday evening around half eight, i feel like this will reach a maximum of viewers as possible as this is the rough timing which my target audience will sit down and watch tv, based on research and analysing my competition this will be best time to target my audience and will beat the viewing figures from all three channels, as my documentary will be a one of show which comes on only at once so people will try and watch it.
